The Musician's room is housed within the Institute for the Formation of Character building at New Lanark. This building is of historical significance and was built by Robert Owen. Its doors opened in 1816 and the imposing building was used as a school for the young, as a venue for evening lectures and also concerts for the workers and villagers. Foreign ambassadors and even royalty visited. Today, we are privileged to be able to offer you access to this building and in particular the Musicians Room as a venue for your wedding ceremony.
