Sunshine are holding a coffee morning this Saturday 10am - 12pm at the old parish church hall. Cake and candy stall, raffle, tombola and childrens christmas craft. All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you.

Please remember it is the behaviour work shop tomorrow morning at sunshine playschool in the back meeting room starting at 9.30am. All are welcome. please come along and have an informal chat about typical and challenging behaviour of a child aged 2-4. If you would like to attend and friday is not your typical day please just let me know and i will allocate your child a space while you are at the meeting. Victoria

Zoo lab is coming for a visit on Monday the 31st of October. It’s a special Halloween theme; all the usual creepy crawlies will be there to give us all a fright! We would like to invite parents to stay if they wish, and we would like to extend an invitation to parents and children that do not usually come on a Monday to come along if you dare! Please note that if Monday is not you’re child’s usual day then a guardian will need to stay with your child. Sunshine children have previously really enjoyed this visit. We hope to see you there!

Good morning! just quick reminder to parents that this wednesday is the childrens sponsered mini mudder challenge. we still need a couple of parent duty helpers to support on the morning. please let Victoria know if you can help. thank you.

To help children settle in this week could you all please bring in a photo/post card or a memento of some of the fun things that the children have done during the holidays, this can then be used as a talking tool to help the children engage with one another and staff and build there confidence. Hello all! i hope you have all enjoyed the holidays and are excited to start back at playschool on Tuesday! here is some helpfull information for our first week back... funded children start at 8.40am-8.45am the doors will the open again at 9.15am for our intake of non funded children. Please dont send your children to playschool in there good clothes, we like to get messy! children will need at least two changes of clothes (top,trousers,pants/nappy and socks) and a pair of wellies, we love to play out side in the mud, sand and water! and a weather appropriate coat/jumper. if you child has a full day place on a tuesday or they stay for lunch club please remember to pack them a healthy lunch box. Pick up time is 11.45am Mon-Fri and 3.00pm on a monday and tuesday if you have an afternoon place. We look forward to seeing all soon!

It's graduation day!!!!!!

Thank you everyone who came to our family day and made it an amazing end to another year at Sunshine Play school. We hope everyone enjoyed it. A special thanks goes out to two of our families who offered their services free of charge. Thank you to everyone who came to our AGM last week. We are still needing two members for next years committee. The positions available are treasurer and fundraiser. If anyone would like to join the committee please get in touch with Lettie ASAP. The Playschool will not be able to open next year without a full committee. Thanks in advance
