A Family Business established in 1975 by Robert Lewis Proudlock and his 3 Sons Robbie, Geoff and John. Livestock and Agricultural traffic has formed the mainstay of the business for a long time. Crane Lorries began to arrive in the early 80's working out of local Quarries, particularly Northumberland concrete at Barrasford. To this day we still operate a crane lorry on brick and block haulage covering the north of England. General traffic has always been a part of the business especially during quieter times of year with livestock. Hay, straw and silage are sourced and supplied to many local farms on a year round basis. We now run seven lorries, on a variety of work. 2012 saw the arrival of a stepframe trailer for carrying plant and machinery, coinciding with Geoff's son, Daniel joining the family business. John's son, Neil is also involved,ensuring the vehicles always look their best, and driving when necessary. We hope to continue developing our business and improving our service despite changing times. Our varied fleet of Lorries combined with many years of experience means that we can move pretty much anything anywhere. Even if we don't have a suitable vehicle ourselves, we will know someone who has.
