Tutor in English covering Central and East Fife. I am a tutor in English, operating mainly but not exclusively, in Fife, Scotland. I hold a degree in English Literature from the University of St Andrews, the most ancient and prestigious of Scotland's universities. I have a genuine passion for my subject amd aim always to pass on this huge enthusiasm to my students. I can tutor anyone from S1, right through to Advanced Higher.

Although many parents only seek my assistance shortly before exams, often this is too late. In fact, it is far better to address any problems much earlier, leading to even better results in the longer term.


My charges are as follows: £30 per hour/ £50 per two-hour  session.

Even though I only had Garry as a tutor for 3 or 4 weeks he was a great help in improving my understanding of higher English.
