Welcome to the Old Blackburnians Association Football Club facebook. Originally established in 1925 by old boys of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School. Originally established in 1925 by old boys of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Blackburn (Q.E.G.S.), the club has grown over the past 80 years to become a thriving local amateur football club.

We support five teams in the Lancashire Amateur League (L.A.L.) and extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in enjoying our playing and social facilities.

The site provides information about the club and is also designed to encourage prospective, existing and former players/members to contribute to it’s growth.

It also has links to other websites associated with our club. These include Q.E.G.S., with whom we retain a strong relationship, L.A.L., and Lammack Juniors F.C. a Charter Standard Club and Community Club who provide junior football at the club to boys and girls from 6 to 16 years.

A superb afternoon spent at Mill Hill St Peter's helping to open the Kieran Keigher stand. Unfortunately we lost 6-3 with Mark Hayes, Martin Simm & Ben Singleton the scorers. Many thanks to all at Mill Hill, Rachel Keigher, John Keigher & the rest of the family for organising such a great event. We believe that it was a fitting tribute for him

A select XI from past players play Mill Hill St Peter's on Sunday for the Kieran Keigher Shield. It's a 1pm ko at Queen Victoria Street. Would be great to see as many people there as possible to help celebrate Kieran's life and the official opening of Mill Hill's new stand named after him. Will be great to see some old faces gracing the Old Blacks kit again
