Description
Welcome to the Old Blackburnians Association Football Club facebook. Originally established in 1925 by old boys of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School. Originally established in 1925 by old boys of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Blackburn (Q.E.G.S.), the club has grown over the past 80 years to become a thriving local amateur football club.
We support five teams in the Lancashire Amateur League (L.A.L.) and extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in enjoying our playing and social facilities.
The site provides information about the club and is also designed to encourage prospective, existing and former players/members to contribute to it’s growth.
It also has links to other websites associated with our club. These include Q.E.G.S., with whom we retain a strong relationship, L.A.L., and Lammack Juniors F.C. a Charter Standard Club and Community Club who provide junior football at the club to boys and girls from 6 to 16 years.

Another good Saturday for the club. Reserves win 9-1 at home v Radcliffe Town Res (Dec Cunliffe ⚽⚽⚽, Jack Downes ⚽⚽⚽, Ryan Duncan ⚽, Jordan Fielding ⚽, James Croak ⚽) whist the 3rds won 3-2 away at Ainsworth (Rob McClure ⚽, Jonny Dunn ⚽, Tommy Kay ⚽). 1sts had no game
GAME DAY 1st match of 2019 today for the 1st team as they travel to play Moston with a 3.30 ko. Reserves are at Home to Old Mancs Res whilst the 3rds travel to FC Littleborough (both 2pm ko's). All support for the lads is welcome
