Established in 2008 by Master Butcher Iain Hunter, Hunters of Kinross is proud to stock only the best quality, hand selected and Quality Assured Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb, and Specially Selected Pork, free range poultry, wild game, and wild venison from the Perthshire hills. Our beef is matured on the bone before being hand cut and dressed by our master butchers, giving unrivalled flavour and succulence.
We have whole free range chickens from Gartmorn Farm; free range and organic turkeys from Copas; seasonal fresh game including pheasant, grouse, rabbit and hare; duck breast and whole Mallard duck and Gressingham duck.
Add to that our wide selection of handmade gourmet sausages, burgers and kebabs; locally grown, seasonal, fresh vegetables; and premium fine foods from unusual, independent suppliers and you have the perfect recipe for delicious, nutritious, ethical meals to suit any budget.

Fantastic News Scottish National Nature Reserve have placed a PAD ( Public Accessible Defibrillator) Outside their office beside The Boathouse Loch Leven. Which is fantastic . That’s now 3 PADs in position .. WAITING for a further 2 going live . The phone box near The Muir’s Inn on The main road Todd & Duncan Outside Cashmere at Lochleven . It’s all great for the community
🎅🎄Hunters commitment to Giving Tuesday🎄🎅 Today is #GivingTuesday a national charity campaign which aims to get people to give something to their community . Today our commitment is Iain will be entertaining 400 elderly residents from sheltered housing, lunch clubs and elderly from care homes around our own community home town #Midlothian & #EastLothian . They have a fantastic Free Community Christmas lunch party in a winter wonderland setting. It’s being held in #EskviewMills In Musselburgh and sponsored by the amazing events team 🎄 Bringing communities together.

Another fantastic Christmas Winter Market in Kinross. Thank you to KLEO and all the amazing volunteers who have helped organise and make this day a huge success for all the traders, shops and local businesses. Thank you also to Billy and Light Up Kinross who raise money to light up the town & who help us at our Winter BBQ. If only everyone knew in Kinross what goes into these events and help the local volunteers offer .. A wee mention to Nicki Mathews and the dancers at the main stage ..
