Unified Fighting Systems
Description
Andy Gibney's version of Jeet Kune Do, incorporating kickboxing, self defence and the Filipino Martial Arts of Eskrima. Jeet Kune Do is the art passed down by Bruce Lee to my teacher, Richard Bustillo, to me. I have been lucky enough to train with all the top names in JKD and many in the world of Eskrima. The current programme covers kickboxing, grappling arts, Eskrima (weapons) and close quarter self defence including the trapping arts from Wing Chun/JKD and Panantukan.

Who is getting one of these today?
Well done everyone. March attendances were up 25% on last year. Grading results tomorrow. Let's see what the Easter bunny brings!

A busy night of grading.
These are the last two sets of the Eskrima and Trapping DVD sets. The sealed ones copies in the photo. They include everything you need for the Eskrima from beginner to black belt and the same for the Trapping. They are £30 a set and I have no plans to update them. Please let me know asap if you want them.
This photo was taken in London yesterday. It seems that UFS is becoming fashionable.
It's grading week. I hope you're all ready.
Junior classes. At the moment they are on Sunday and Thursday 6pm to 6.30pm. I'm thinking of adding a Tuesday class to the timetable (same time). Would that work for any of you with juniors who struggle to get to either the Sunday or Thursday class?
On Tuesday night I talked about the club badge and what it all meant. As I'm sure you've forgotten that now, or you weren't there, here is the explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtWyWB8qkWo
One week to go until the gradings begin. Please bring your grading money if you haven't already paid. Junior gradings and senior white belts: Sunday 25th March. Senior coloured belts: Tuesday 27th March.
