facebook.com**NEW CLASS ALERT** Name- GET FIT TOGETHER💪 (6 week training class ( 60 minute exercise session once per week in a team of between 6 and 10 people) -The class is designed to improve general fitness together in a team. -The group sign up, choose a group name and work for 6 weeks together towards a final obstacle course/group challenge set up to test your fitness at the end of the 6 week block. If the class shows popularity I will hopefully expand the numbers and sessions per week! -For the low cost of only 10 pound per class or a payment of 60 (with a discount if paid in a block payment) for the full 6 weeks , each person will get outdoor personal training which will help develop technique as well as fitness. -The class will run every Friday from 6.30-7.30 so people can come before work and feel good at the start of the weekend knowing they have achieved something! -The class itself will begin in April and follow different areas of fitness each week, so message now if interested because I've already filled the first few slots. **RUNNING WITH MATTHEW** -Just a reminder to everyone that my running class will be starting next Thursday at 7.15pm from the inverness tennis and squash club! -The class will develop cardiovascular endurance and help everyone meet their summer goals and targets in a group exercise session. -I'm very excited to get outside with everyone and get this class started and I'm hoping the weather improves for it🤞 -Send a message to my page if you are interested in joining next week and have anymore questions about the class. -Keep an eye out on my page at the weekend because I have an exciting post about a morning outdoor class coming soon😃 (TIME TO GET RUNNING GUYS🏃)
Tough but enjoyable week of training with Alan Goodwin PT💪 -Wide grip pull ups are always tough, but trying a superset with dumbbell shoulder press and it really adds a new intensity to training!! I think I need a few rest days now😅😅
**SATURDAY CIRCUITS CLASS** -Come on down to Saturday circuits this week at Inverness Tennis and Squash club😀 -Free to members at the club and only £5 for non-members between 11am and 12pm. -Circuits is a great way to develop all round fitness, and it's suitable for all abilities so come on down and give it a try guys💪💪
One of my newest clients Daniel Rabson is making weights look easy in his first few sessions!! -He has already completed the fitness tests and after being away from exercise for quite a long period of time he absolutely smashed them. Basic exercises like plank and press ups highlighted his strengths and weaknesses and we have now started working towards improving his general fitness and health. -Today I taught him some barbell and bodyweight exercises and for a first lesson we covered lots of information! -Watch out for more updates on Daniel on my page, amazing work💪
Emma Wilson and Lauren Grant have just started their fitness journey together, and they are both very determined and ready to succeed! The fitness tests have been completed and the programme will start from next week! Keep an eye out on my page for updates of both ladies, because I know they are going to smash all the goals I set for them!! Good luck guys💪💪
**CLIENT UPDATE** Ruairidh Fraser is doing very well for someone who has only had a few personal training sessions. He has just started his first exercise programme and we in his first 2 routines he picked things up very quickly and showed he is a natural lifter💪 -Below is a video of his very first squat session, he picked up all the teaching points I have to him and lifted with real purpose!! -Watch out for more on Ruairidh over the next few weeks and watch the video below which highlights a great squat for a complete beginner!
-I've been absolutely loving my training sessions so far this year with Alan Goodwin PT, and I'm really starting to see a difference in my overall strength and endurance. -Compound lifts have always been challenging for me due to my build, but I've worked on technique so much to get the lifts to a standard I am really happy with! -The hard work is always worth it in the end💪💪
Scott Armstrong and Aileen King have now done 4 PT sessions with me and they are really starting to progress with technical ability, cardiovascular endurance and general strength. -They both ran a new PB for their mile today at scott 8.43 and Aileen at 10.14! This absolutely smashed the previous records, and showed what getting back to exercise can do! -They are now completing an exercise programme which will help improve general fitness and health so keep an eye out for progress on my facebook page. -They even tried out a partner wall sit today which was lots of fun😅😅 -Fantastic work guys!! Keep it up💪
**NEW CLASS ALERT** -My running class will start next month and I am excited to announce it will be begin (Thursday March 15th from 7.15pm-8.30pm) -The class will involve fun group activities and follow different routes around the tennis and squash club. -It is suitable for all levels and great if you are looking to start exercising again or get fit for summer!! The class will cost only 7 pound and give you more insight into progressing your running ability, stretching before and after and pacing yourself properly over certain distances and many more important factors🏃 -I'm hoping to start an early morning running class for those who struggle with evenings so keep an eye out for updates on this class too, and message if this would interest you. -I'm hoping the weather improves and we can all enjoy some great running together over spring and summer☀️ -Message me before the start date if interested and ask friends, family etc if they would be up for the challenge! -More updates will follow closer to the starting date so keep an eye out on my page guys😀
After all the boxing circuits I have done this week with clients, I thought it was only right to give it a try myself! It's fair to say I was knackered afterwards😂😂 -Basic exercises like skipping, sprints, bag work and pad work are so effective if you put in the effort and give every exercise 100%!! So that's what I did💪💪 -I've had some great results with clients since the start of the year and I have many more exciting posts coming up. -So keep an eye out on my page for updates. I can't wait to smash more sessions with clients next week👏
