The University of the Highlands and Islands is a network of colleges and research centres, spread across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, offering you a natural, supportive environment in which to study. At the University of the Highlands and Islands you choose your campus. You can study at one of our colleges or research centres spread across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, or join our large body of students who create their own campus by studying online from home or work. As a student you will benefit from exceptional support from your tutors and peers. Even if you are studying online, you won’t be studying in isolation. We are experts in providing support to offcampus students, thanks to our distributed structure and innovative use of technologies, including: video conference, a virtual learning environment, online discussion groups, audio conference and Skype.
