Set within 42 acres of idyllic parkland, Houghton Hall Park is the newly restored landmark within Bedfordshire open to the public to explore and enjoy all year round.
Houghton Hall Park Visitors Centre is a brand new multi use facility which is situated in the historic eighteenth century parkland of Houghton Hall. The fully accessible centre is home to 2 meeting rooms, a discovery and learning corner as well as a fully equipped café offering a wide range of drinks, light bites and meals to cater for all tastes.
The formal gardens that once stood beside the hall have been restored to their formal glory providing a scenic view across the park, the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll. In addition, the kitchen garden has also been reinstated within the gardens providing an opportunity for the community to maintain and grow local produce to be enjoyed by all.
The Houghton Hall Park Renaissance and Renewal Project is being managed by Central Bedfordshire Council in partnership with Houghton Regis Town Council and is supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.
