Private Memebers Club and Function Facilities. With a Snooker Room.  Stanboroughs Conservative Club is a private Members Club whose mission is to offer its members a safe and secure environment where they can relax, meet friends, make new acquaintances and enjoy stunning surroundings, first class service and excellent facilities.

As well as Club membership we also offer a first class venue for private functions or business use, with various room types available.

Formerly the Hoddesdon & Broxbourne Conservative Club, founded in 1900, we have now moved to a new, purpose-built Clubhouse in the grounds of the old Clubhouse conveniently located in the centre of the old coaching town of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire.

Our Clubhouse offers an exclusive private environment for its Members with many benefits.

Access to the building is via a personalised Stanboroughs Member Privilege Card that also includes bar and snooker privileges depending on the types of membership.

Designed for access with wide corridors and doors, lift access, toilets on both floors and a low bar section to enable the less-abled to fully enjoy our facilities.

Drinks are offered at reasonable prices with an option to benefit from considerable discounts with pre-paid Bar ‘credits’. We stock a wide range of beers with regular Guest Beers,wines, spirits, and soft drinks.

An excellent choice of good food from our well-appointed modern kitchen.

Three well-maintained snooker tables in an exclusive, superbly appointed, Snooker Room with access privileges extending outside bar opening times, depending on the type of membership

Function Room bookings with reduced prices for Members’ and their immediate family. A number of room layouts in both the Function Room and Conference Suite can be made available for personal and business use.

Entertainment events at least monthly including anniversary dates such as Burns Night, St George’s Day, Christmas etc.

Special interest groups such as snooker competitions, golf society, short mat bowls, darts, and we are always open to new suggestions from members.

Children, guests and Affiliated Members are welcome, but door access and Club privileges are limited to Members only.

Children under 18 years of age must be under strict supervision of an adult and are not permitted at the bar.

Although a Private Members Club, members of the public are invited to enjoy our lunch time menu.

*Guests and Affiliated Members are welcome but benefits to do with price reductions are only available to Stanboroughs Club Members who subscribe to the pre-paid Bar credit facility on their Stanboroughs Privilege Card.
