Cake 3 : very simple but striking cake, my client was going to add a bright pink Peonie to make the cake more striking. Just before the cake left I added fushia pink writing to the board.

Busy week this week, probably not a good idea to take on 5 cakes in a 4 day week when you are busy training for the London Marathon, but I did it 👏🏻 Here’s cake no 1 So my challenge was to use as little fondant as possible, so only the models are fondant, everything else is coloured buttercream and candy melts .

This cake is for a big family gathering this weekend, 4 members of the family celebrating birthdays , we have a 60 year old lady who loves diving, 60 & 40 year old men both Msn Utd lovers and a 13 year old girl who loves Lush bath products. Lovely colourful cake, bottom layer is Vanilla with jam and buttercream, middle , chocolate with chocolate buttercream and the top layer lemon with lemon curd and lemon buttercream filling

I was asked to make a ‘random’ cake, the only instruction was the sponge had to be rainbow. So I thought rainbow icing was pretty random with a model of Sam’s first phone poking out the top

Final one for this weekend. It’s for a Barmitzah tomorrow. 3 tiers of vanilla sponge sandwiched with lots of buttercream and jam and the edges scrapped to form a ‘naked’ look. Topped of with Alex’s favourite fruits. The blue scarf is to represent his favourite football club ‘Wimbledon FC’

This one is for my nephews girlfriend. She’s a cheerleading, Rosé drinking student at Cardiff. It’s all edible, even the tiara ( which gave me a sleepless night! ) Have a great party Kat !
