Just to let you know that Ladybirds has not been affected by the closure of Westrop School, so groups are running as normal next week. The very lovely Julia is away tomorrow, so I'm running Monday Fun. Do feel free to bring your 'healthy' Westrop School pupils along with their siblings. I look forward to seeing you.....& I hope those children that are poorly are better soon. Carole :)

A LITTLE BIT OF WINTER continues in SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL tomorrow at Ladybirds, 9:30am, with a cold lady who swallowed some snow! Next week in STAY'N'PLAYS, Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:30am until 11am, come along and make bird cake. We will keep the birds fed and happy this winter. Please bring along stale cake, grated cheese, dried fruit, fat balls, etc., that the children can add to the mix. In the meantime, enjoy the real snow! Carole :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Groups start back next week, on Tuesday 10th January...I hope that you have missed them and can't wait to join me! The theme this half term is A LITTLE BIT OF WINTER. Over the next 5 weeks we shall be making snowflakes, bird cake, singing about snow, riding the bobsled run, creating salt & glue snowflakes, playing FREEZE, building a snowman, mixing puffy paint....Guess what? It looks like snow.....plus lots more fun activities that will help children to develop and learn. (I'm hoping that we might have a little real snow to play with.) Find me at Ladybirds, Highworth from 9:30am until 11am, on Tuesdays & Wednesdays for Stay'n'Play and Fridays for Shake, Rattle & Roll. I'm also at Kingshill House, Kent Road, Old Town,Swindon at 9:30am on Thursdays, with Shake, Rattle & Roll. I hope that you have all had a great Christmas. I can't wait to hear about it! Carole xx

Happy Christmas everyone! I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. I have checked with Father Christmas and all the girls and boys that come to my groups are on his nice list....of course. CHRISTMAS PARTIES! Just a reminder that Christmas parties start this week. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING ALONG A LITTLE FOOD of your choice, for the children's tea party. Thank you. If you haven't booked, don't worry. Please just let me know so I can make sure that there is a present from Santa and enough layers on the pass the parcel!! The parties are at KINGSHILL HOUSE, KENT RD, OLD TOWN, SWINDON at 9:30am on Thursday 8th December. LADYBIRD CHILDRENS CENTRE, HIGHWORTH at 9:30am on Friday 9th December, Tuesday 13th December & Wednesday 14th December. £5 for one child and additional children from the same family cost £1. It's very exciting! :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..........in STAY'N'PLAYS Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:30am until 11, this week and next at Ladybirds. Come along and children can make a handprint Christmas tree card, a reindeer decoration and a Father Christmas face. (Obviously their cute little hand will look much better than my huge one in the photo!) In SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL we will have a Santa's bag of Christmas Songs to sing with actions and dancing. Thursday 9:30am at Kingshill House, Kent Road, Old Town, Swindon & Friday 9:30am at Ladybirds, Highworth. All groups cost £3 per family, pay as you attend. Please book CHRISTMAS PARTIES THIS WEEK. Thursday 8th December at Kingshill House. Friday 9th, Tuesday 13th & Wednesday 14th December at Ladybirds. £5 for one child and £1 for each additional child from the same family. Forget the horrible weather and bring your children along to play! We are off to Japan and celebrating their Star Festival in STAY'N'PLAYS this week at Ladybirds, Highworth. Tuesdays & Wednesdays (term time) 9:30 to 11am. Create a glitter star or design your own constellation. If you like singing, then SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL is on Thursdays (term time), 9:30am at Kingshill House, Old Town, Swindon & Fridays (term time), 9:30am at Ladybirds, Highworth. I have 2 things to say today! REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN'S TEDDY TO GROUPS THIS WEEK...we are holding a Teddy Festival. And I'm taking bookings/payment for CHRISTMAS PARTIES. Christmas Parties at LADYBIRDS on Friday 9th December Tuesday 13th December Wednesday 14th December and at KINGSHILL HOUSE, Old Town on Thursday 8th December £5 for one child, plus £1 for each additional child. We will have creative activities, games, singing, dancing and of course, a present from Father Christmas. Please book and pay before 2nd December, so that Father Christmas has time to get the presents! I'm so excited!!!! Regular groups cost £3 per family and are STAY'N'PLAYS at Ladybirds on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 9:30am until 11am. SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL at Kingshill House, Old Town, on Thursdays at 9:30am & at Ladybirds on Fridays at 9:30am. Hope to see you soon. :)

There are lots of exciting activities to do this week....especially if you are under 4 years! STAY'N'PLAYS on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9:30am until 11am, at Ladybirds, Highworth. This week it is carnival time. Create a mask and join the parade. SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL. Thursdays 9:30am at Kingshill House, Kent Rd, Old Town, Swindon. Fridays 9:30am at Ladybirds.
