Last week we had a rather cool project in the workshop , an incredibly clean mk1 fiesta . This car was previously fitted with a zzr1200 bike engine , however the customer had decided that it was not different enough or fast enough so we have fitted a ford st170 engine with a turbocharger that is going to be making a steady 300-350hp in this this little chassis weighing in at approximately 700kg It became apparent that the rear space frame , that had been built very well for a bike engine would have to be extensively modified to accept an engine more commonly found in the front of a focus st !

Another little update on the current project . The new rear subframe is now complete .... now to weld it onto the existing rear space frame . more pics to come ! #tiglife #tubefab #rwd #chassisprep #customfabrication #absolutecustoms
