Wardles Pool Presents ** Scotch-Doubles Double-Elimination tournament. 27th August £10 Entry - 1.30pm Start Best of 7 (Winners Section) Best of 5 (Losers Section) All money paid out on the day. This tournament is capped at the first 32 players to pay. Players will be randomly given a partner for this event. Players will follow basic Scotch-Doubles format, with discussion between players allowed on first visit to the table, after the first shot is played players will be unable to communicate. After the 32 players have been confirmed, there is a possibility that some players will be seeded to avoid unbalanced teams. This will be at our discretion of player standards. There is no Sunderland/Newcastle on this day & as far as i am aware, this isn't a county day (hopefully someone can confirm) Should be a cracking event and offers something that is rarely played in a tournament setting. Unfortunately due to YouTube errors, we are unable to livestream the draw for the weekend. Rather than waste valuable time waiting for it to be resolved, the automated program at Cuescore.com has produced the fixtures for us. I have put starting times and tables next to players games, to give everyone a rough estimated time of game beginning and where. Hopefully to help smooth out the timing. The same format as other tournaments; Lag for break, BlackBall rules, Collect Scorecard from top table and hand in result when completed. Plate for first round losers beginning as soon as First round is completed. If anyone is unable to attend, could you please message me ASAP.
