The Northern Shooting Show - Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th May 2017, Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate, HG2 8NZ Welcome to ‘The Northern Shooting Show’
We are proud to announce that ‘The Northern Shooting Show’ will be held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May 2017 at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG2 8NZ, (home of ‘The Great Yorkshire Show’). This location offers easy access from the A1/M62 Crossroads, (‘Gateway to the North’) and the timing of the Show and its location allows for a strong emphasis on outdoor shooting activities and demonstrations.
The venue boasts generous FREE onsite parking very close to the show halls. Inside the modern 65,000 sq ft of purpose built indoor exhibition halls, we will be offering : Manufacturers, Distributors and Retailers of shotguns, rifles, & airguns, scopes, optics, reloading / ammunition, shooting accessories and specialist clothing together with specialist areas such as ; Rifle ‘FMJ’ zone, Airgun central, Gamekeeping Area, Artisans & Classics Quarter, Field cutlery section, Bushcraft demonstration area, plus many more!

- Clay shooting line - With expert instruction from BASC & CPSA coaches, together with muzzle loading demonstration area, a ‘try before you buy’ area and competitions with BIG cash prizes!
- Airgun range – A sporting rifle and pistol range with expert instruction and competitions, together with an area reserved for manufacturers to let you ‘try before you buy’.
- Gundog field -We will be staging a regional heat for the BASC National gundog league, BASC will also be on hand giving expert gundog training & demonstrations along Scurry Bandits organising scurry competitions that will be open to all levels of experience.
All outdoor areas are open to juniors, improvers & beginners.
Our dedicated team promise to bring you a celebration of all shooting sports by providing an inclusive ‘one stop shop’ where all facets of shooting are represented from large gun manufacturers down to small specialist retailers.

The Gundog Field at #NSS18 will be the biggest yet. With scurries and a one of a kind competition never seen before organised by BASC North and their gundog team and also demonstrations and clinic by Stoneycairn with a specialist gundog seminar area operating throughout the day, this area promises to be something special. Bell Target shooting in Lincolnshire is thriving thanks to guns donated by AirArms and the backing of the Northern Shooting Show. It's been great with 8 to 88 year olds all getting involved. Ten year old Amy C is a bit of a keen shot and beats many of the adults. Here she is receiving her Goodie Bag sent personally by Claire West, MD of Air Arms , from Dave Carter of Lincolnshire Smallbore Rifle Association who is developing shooting across the region.
The Northern Shooting Show team are on their way to present the Clay Shooter of the Year category at the 2018 Clay Pigeon Shooting Association awards this evening. The nominees are Abbey Ling, Arnie Palmer, John Bidwell, Josh Bridges and Martin Myers. Tag who you think will be the winner....
