FRIENDS OF ROCK SCHOOL
Description
Rock School is a youth music project aimed at introducing young people to performing music in both live and studio environments. Rock school is established to support, motivate and empower young local people through a combination of music related and personal development activities.
Guided by professionally qualified musicians and music industry specialists, young people are given the opportunity to develop their potential musically.
As well as the performances, young people are taught a variety of music related skills and gain a range of team building and problem solving skills.
The Rock school enables young people to become confident performers and/or technical personnel who contribute postiviely to the local community
