Hardys Menswear opened in September 1979 in the Market Town of Halstead in Essex in much smaller premises than it is in today. The owner, Neil Hardy, ran the business for 5 years further down the hill in a shop about a third of the current shop size and realised he needed more space. So he moved to the top of the hill to the premises where he is today on the corner of Market Hill and Head Street and has not looked back since.
Now into it’s 38th year the business has expanded, as has the selection of clothing, accessories and manufactures, into Hire Wear and recently into Wedding Hire
Hardys pride their selves in good old fashioned customer service and will go out of their way to help customers find what they require. If the item is not in stock they will do their best to get it for you and if it needs adjusting it will be done by our local tailor at no extra charge!
