I had to create an access panel in one room without it looking too obvious. I managed to source a perfect aluminium trim and a bit of fettling with levels sorted it. I was asked recently about tramline borders and said I would dig out some pictures. This job shows them off perfectly. I had fitted the lounge earlier last year and then returned to do the hall to match. They can be very effective and make your floor stand out from the "norm". Happy new year everybody. This was another recent installation completed just before Xmas. A perfect example of how the design of a floor can totally transform the look of a room. These are standard tiles (Cavalio roasted oak gold) and laid in the herringbone design makes them look so different from a standard pattern. This was one of my favourites of last year. It will be lovely place to be in the summer as the patio doors open right up and it will be level with the new decking when installed. The sub floor was a bit of a challenge as it was a few different levels, all sorted now though. Lots of colours and design options available. Who said patterned carpet has to be old fashioned!. Loved this recent installation. Looks so striking and is beautiful quality. The customer saw this online and fell in love with it, I managed to source it at a massive saving for her. The whole bottom floor of the house has been done in karndean oak. A lovely combination.

This is another recent Karndean job, the sub floor was a bit of a mess as it was three different rooms knocked into one. Uplifting the ceramics also left the floor in a poor state.
