After coming to the UK from Australia it has always been an absolute dream to be able to run the London Marathon!!! 6 years of running and a year of serious training - I've completed one marathon (New Forest 2017!) and now luckily enough to have the opportunity to run one of my biggest dreams - the London Marathon!! My spot at the London Marathon wouldn’t have been possible though without an amazing charity asking me to run for them! I am fundraising for a charity called Sonus - and this is a charity very close to my heart which is of course why I said yes!! My mum is partially deaf and last year was able to get a cochlear ear plant put on/in and is now able to hear a lot better. She has medical problems which caused a lot of problems - but has now been made better from this miracle device. One of my students (I also coach cheerleading) also has hearing difficulties and has to use sign language. We have an amazing interpreter that comes into our lessons and helps us teach this young lady the routine. She communicates with her through sign language of course, and some of our students have been amazing enough to learn it too! I am hoping to be able to fundraise as much as I can for such an amazing charity, especially because it’s so close to my heart! I'd be ever so grateful if you could please help us by bringing a few extra pounds to put towards the charity!! If you'd prefer I've also added my link so you can easily do it via card too!
