Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the adverse weather conditions in Florida and the Caribbean. Hurricane Irma is affecting areas in the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Florida. Understandably travellers already in the region or with imminent plans to visit are concerned. We are closely tracking the situation and are working round the clock with all of our airline, tour operator, tourist board, cruise and hotel partners to ensure the safety of our customers, which is our top priority. Barrhead Travel have a dedicated operational team working with customers in affected areas to provide assistance where needed. We are also contacting customers who are due to travel to affected areas imminently. As always, we take our guidance on safety for travel from the Foreign Office. Customers due to travel to these areas up until the 10th of September should get in touch with their local branch where their booking was made. We will contact customers travelling after this date as required. Customers already in resort can contact head office on 0141 242 1334 (9am to 8pm GMT) or 07739 199507 (24 hour response).
