An OCN accredited dog trainer with diplomas in dog training and behaviour with distinction. For training, behavioral issues or general advice. Insured. I have owned dogs for over 20 years and currently own 5!! Two jack Russel terriers Poppy, and Alfie, two Border Collies Blue and Skye and last but not least the Bear... our Alaskan Malamute!
Since the beginning of 2013 I have been undergoing dog training and behaviour courses which I continue to study in order to become a fully accredited trainer & behaviourist. This is something of which I am immensely passionate about and enjoy not only working with the dogs, but also studying and learning.
I attend a local dog training club with both my youngest dogs and also enjoy training them on agility throughout the summer.
At present I hold a 'Think Dog' Certificate which is OCN accredited as well as a Diploma's in Dog training (with distinction) and Dog Psychology and behaviour.
My studies on this are ongoing and are something which I can see myself do for many years to come.
Meanwhile though I hope to be able to help other dog owners where possible with advice on puppy training, new dogs, general training issues or behaviour problems and further extend my own knowledge and experience over the coming years.

This gorgeous girl is Skye . She is a Cypriot rescue dog and is a little GSD and a little of one or two others and is really intelligent She already has fantastic basic obedience but tends to get a bit over excited meeting new people or dogs and loves to jump. She hasn't quite learned that 'Come' means come. As in right now. Not in 20 mins.😂 In just a short hour today though I saw a dog who is super quick and keen to learn new things and who I am sure will be the best trained and most well mannered dog in Motherwell.

Kassi and Loui are two Yorkshire terriers who I've had the pleasure of spending time with over the last year. Kassi is a bundle of energy and fun but can boast of excellent obedience and recall 🐶🎓 And little Loui has gone from a nervous wee man who would bark at any dog who approached him to one who willingly wants to meet and play with other dogs with no bark at all!! 👏🐶 Our end goal is to walk both dogs together with zero negative reaction and barking at the Dogs trust fun day. And we're almost there . Well done Kassi and Loui. 👏👏🐶🐶🌟🌟

Rhodes 2 Safety
Yesterday I attended a Canine First Aid course courtesy of Rhodes to Safety and cannot recommend this company highly enough. The course was around 3.5 hours long with a short sandwich break between. You will learn so much from this and all of it is relevant to us as dog owners. You just never know when this information could come in handy and as much as we hope never to need to use it, it's better to know just in case.
