Data centres are at the heart of everything. When icolo.io completed their tier 3 data centre in Mombasa, Kenya they needed to test the 675 kW facility in line with the Uptime Institute’s requirements, we were ready to help. We provided them with a 1266 kW loadbank for testing a 500 kW UPS system, cooling system and two 1000 kVA generators. http://bit.ly/2DDoMxU
We recently partnered with Telfer Mine and Newcrest to deliver a 9,000 kWr water cooled surface refrigeration plant in Western Australia. Sometimes creating something means you have to take the heat, but making will always take power. Every year, Houston puts on the world's largest livestock show and rodeo. Before that kicks off, there's the Bar-B-Que Contest. Our equipment has been spotted at the event. When the competition is 250 teams deep, having Aggreko on your side would be a winning choice. Corrosion is something we help our customers with, throughout our applications and solutions. Faiza al-Kharafi clearly shares our passion, holding a record of high productivity in several areas of corrosion science and engineering. In addition, Faiza won multiple awards for her work on corrosion, specifically when it comes to water treatment and the oil industry. #InternationalWomensDay #PressForProgress #WomenCAN

Caroline Haslett, the first female member of the British Electricity Authority, wanted to harness power for women to pursue their own interests outside the home. This English pioneer who brought electricity into homes in the 1930’s also published “Why electricity need not be a closed book for girls.” Caroline’s dream of electrical power creating ease in our everyday life came true, and then some. Today, our engineers can bring power to any project – whenever and wherever you are! #PressForProgress #InternationalWomensDay #WomenCAN
