My story On leaving the Army after 25 years of service due to injuries both physical and mental illness PTSD I could not secure employment I set up a Military Fitness Training Company Alba that trained thousands who went on to lead a fitter healthier life style Alba MF is still running ten years later Sadly my physical injuries meant I was unable to take part actively and I needed to find alternative employment I had a love for motorcycling that also helped my PTSD I decided to enrol with a local riding school and paid to do my Down Trained Instructor I felt this experience was invaluable as I was at the coal face hands on instructing and able to be fully involved Always wanting to better myself I found out that you could become a DVSA Approved and recognised Motorcycle Instructor if you passed the Tests at their HQ at Cardington Bedford in England no mean feet As I heard about how hard it was to pass I knew I needed to prepare fully I booked on a Pre Motorcycle Instructors Course with Phoenix Motorcycle Training It was one of my better moves Tony the lead Instructor and Owner of Phoenix delivered a first class course the days were long and hard but Tony s love and enthusiasm for motorcycling was evident from day 1 I was successful on passing my Tests at Cardington and put this down to Tony It had been well worth the thousand mile trip !!! Once again I found out I could further improve upon my own personal skills and drills by taking part in an assessment to be an advanced Rider again this is what I did I have just recently returned once again from the thousand mile trip on completing my advanced Rider assessor course. Tony and myself have a passion for instructing motorcycle riders. We want anybody who wishes to take up motorcycling for what ever reason , to be trained up to the highest standard and be safe I have now started Alba Motorcycle Training Academy with Phoenix Motorcycle Training We will go that extra mile for the client So if you are considering taking up motorcycling or looking to enhance your riding skills come along and give it a go You won’t be disappointed Our Bikes are all Japanese and maintained to an excellent standard “Raising The Standard “
