My name is Tracey, I am a childminder registered with The Care Inspectorate and a member of the Scottish Childminding Association. I provide a high standard of childcare in a safe, loving, homely environment which allows your child to develop emotionally, physically and socially. As a registered childminder I aim to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a safe, clean, loving home-like environment where everyone feels valued. Respect towards self, others and environment will always be enphasised. I have dedicated spaces for the children to regognise as their space to play, eat, sleep. This includes a dedicated playroom and a fully enclosed back garden. There is a strong emphasis on outdoor play and learning and I will incorporate this into my service whenever possible. I also like to take the children on regular outings which include local parks, playgroups, sofplay. As a childminder registered with The Care Inspectorate and a provider of quality childcare I have policies and procedures for safeguarding the children in my care. Parents are given a copy of each policy to take away and will be encouraged to discuss each policy prior to signing the agreed contract to acknowledge that all policies have been read and understood. All policies are reviewed regularly and parents will be informed of any updates or new policies I may incorporate. My childminding service is based in Robroyston, an easy commute for Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie and Stepps. As a childminder registered with The Care Inspectorate , I am restricted to the number of children I can care for at any one time. I am registered to care for 6 children under 12, of whom no more than 3 are pre-school and whom no more that 1 is under 12 months unless its twins. I currently have spaces available. So true! In my childcare setting, boys and girls both play with the same toys and are encouraged to do so! I have had some funny looks when a boy mindee is walking in the park with a doll and buggy! Time to change gender stereotyping!

Making coloured pasta for craft work today! Easy peasy. Here's what you will need to make it. Step 1: Place uncooked pasta into a ziplock bag. Step 2: Put a few squirts of sanitiser into the bag. Zip up the bag and shake to evenly coat the pasta. Step 3: Re-open the bag and pour a few drops of food colouring into the bag. Step 4: Zip up the bag and shake up the bag until the food colouring has mixed evenly through the pasta. Step 5: Empty the coloured pasta onto kitchen roll and leave to dry. Step 6: Once dry use to thread onto string to make some jewellery or use for a rainbow sensory tub!! 😁🥇📿
