Introduction

My name is Kerry Sword and I have been working in the beauty industry for over 15 years now. I achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Newcastle College in the year 2000.
Since then I have been on a bit of a world beauty tour, gaining knowledge and experience in different techniques, traditions and cultures in three different continents. This has enabled me to create the most interesting and varied treatments.
The world tour started in two of the UK’s top destination spas, Ragdale Hall and Stobo Castle, giving me the experience that was necessary to secure a position as a senior therapist within a ski resort spa in Colorado, America.
From America it was off to Singapore as a waxing therapist for a group of waxing salons and urban spas.
Next up on the world beauty tour was Island life as I joined the Willow Stream spa at the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda.
From Bermuda I went back to Singapore, returning to the company I had previously worked for, to become their training manager. In 2009 I was transferred to London to train the UK staff and get their flagship store in Mayfair up and running.
Working overseas has given me an abundance of knowledge and experience. So, I have brought it all together, combining all the ‘best bits’ from everywhere I have worked.

The Honeypot was born in September 2010, offering a wide range of beauty services that can be tailored to suit all of your individual needs.
