With the grass continuing to be potent and luminous we encourage all our clients and friends to be on laminitis watch and consider preventative measures where necessary - given the mild winter and excessively long growing season we are seeing evidence of low grade laminitis in even the hooves of previously unaffected horses this year..

A big Thumbs Up for Cavallo Treks! Student EP Rachel's clients Sam and Cleo took part in the Modbury Fleet Ride on Sunday and according to Sam "The boots were fully put to the test. Deep mud, stoney tracks, river riding, sea and lots of sand" without coming off or twisting! Gorgeous Welsh cob Cleo was backed and brought on by Sam two years ago, she was fitted with her Treks in February to aid stimulation and provide protection for her fronts for longer and more testing rides - boots, especially when they perform like this, are a great solution for active barefoot horses who spend time stabled and work on a variety of surfaces :-)
