National Day of Prayer This morning, amidst flickering candles and flowers, We assembled in sanctuary and invoked the Lord’s powers, Seeking bounty and blessing on church and community Prayerfully interceding Kirk, in nation-wide unity. Public prayers interspersed with reflective silence, Beloved children of God, expressing reliance. Adoration, confession, thanksgiving, supplication, We called out to God in heartfelt, humble, expectation. Taught to pray without ceasing, a requisite oration, Trusting Christ, His intercession and oblation.
