Pilton Community Health Project
Description
We run a number of services and activities that support people to lead healthier lives; working with local people to help tackle the causes of ill health. PCHP works with people to take steps towards better health.
We work with local people to identify causes of ill health (e.g. stress) and tackle them (e.g. counselling). We run a range of activities and groups that local people can join so they can feel healthier or learn more about how to live healthier lives.
We work in Greater Pilton = Drylaw, Muirhouse, Royston Wardieburn, West Granton and West Pilton
We currently offer a wide range of services and activities and co-ordinate lots of opportunities for you to get involved.

We discovered some real Hidden Gems last Thursday. So many fabulous community gardens and the community orchard. We had a fine time chatting to lots of gardeners and seeing how much is going on. Thank you to Tom for showing us round, what a great thing the community gardens and gardeners are.

This is Sean and his son Malcolm receiving their Inspiring Volunteer award at the City Chambers last Wednesday. Since 2013 Sean has been running MAD (Mums and Dads) cooking classes to inspire families in North Edinburgh to cook and eat together. Currently, he is also working with PCHP to investigate more dignified responses to food insecurity. Sean is a great asset to North Edinburgh and an inspiration to work with.
