2 BIG CRUCIAN CARP
This weekend the fishing has been really good with lots of Carp big Bream and silvers coming out . I myself had 2 good days catching 2 good bags of Roach and Skimmers using maggot on the pole . Gary and Dean caught Carp to 8lb and Bream to 6lb . Deans friend Charlie learning to fish also caught some nice Carp. The water temperature has now picked up and the fish are now showing all round the lake. The pic is Charlie with a nice Carp.
Last week there was Carp and Bream being caught by a few anglers that turned up. Although the water temperature was still a bit cold today the fish was showing and jumping all around . So I think it is now time to get the rods out . Hope to see you all on the bank soon.
Due to all the bad weather we have had, we have had to stop work on finishing the car park. Due to the ground being very wet so cannot use the roller to flatten it off. I have also had to cancel 12 ton of road chippings for the time being. we will need at least a full week of dry weather for the work to be continued. We have also had to put off opening for hot food at easter until the weather improves.
