An interesting sight this morning captured from one of our based aircraft this morning - The deck of the new lifting bridge is being hoisted in to position above the Manchester Ship Canal. Initially is will be supported on a specialised barge. When the new bridge opens, set for later this year, it will connect City Airport with Trafford City and the Trafford Centre !
