This morning I got to the tennis courts and saw them completely frozen. But did that stop us...no way!! We took it carefully and did every junior session. Massive respect to the first 2/3 groups that had icy and slippery courts and the last 2 groups it got colder as day went on so huge respect to you! Loved being back coaching the groups today!

Over the years I've had the pleasure of working with some many coaches and assistants. They are not just people that have worked with or for me but also people I can truly call friends. To all that have assisted me at Dunmow Tennis Club, thank you so much! Such a great club to work at and look forward to continuing there for hopefully many years to come!

A fantastic last Saturday junior coaching yesterday. Everybody dressed up and some really went the extra mile to get in the Christmas spirit! Thank you everybody for your continued support and for all the presents and cards I received. Hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and here's to an amazing 2018!!

So this morning the court that was clear had a layer of frozen ice all over them and other court was still covered. Fast forward 8 hours and courts are clear after a day of shovelling! Now let's pray for no frost so we can have junior Christmas 2017 tomorrow!

So only half a court available due to lying snow and that half was getting incredibly icy but yet these absolute heroes still came out and played! Such an honour to be out there today! By the look on all our faces it was cold but all had fun!

Decided to shovel this afternoon with my amazing wife!! Don't think it's a bad job so far. Hopefully this rain will help!

A beautiful day in Dunmow but sadly the sun did nothing for the courts! Still covered! Hoping tomorrow will bring some warmer weather and rain to clear them!

Courts still covered so apologies but no tennis lessons for the foreseeable future. Here's to some warmer weather so courts can be used!
