Many thanks particularly to Peter Gilmore, Bill Douglas, Bob McDonald, Fred Brown and George Nisbet and a small band of others for their hard work which has led to this accolade.

Barnhill was pleased to host the City of Dundee Championship finals tonight. Huge congratulations to all the winners and commiserations to the losing finalists.
Congratulations to Paul Strachan on winning through last night to the Singles Final of the City of Dundee Championdships. The Final takes place this Friday evening at Barnhill BC.
Baldowrie Mixed Triples Today saw 10 Teams taking part in the annual Baldowrie Mixed Triples. With the sun shining throughout the Triples of Dave Ramsay, Mary Christie & Phil Christie, and Jean Brown, Jim McGechaen, & Eurof Thomas prevailed through to the final. In a well contested final the trio of Jean Brown, Jim McGechaen & Eurof Thomas won 13 - 3. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Mac Young for organising the event. A big thanks to Baldowrie Garage for their continued sponsorship.

Congratulations to Graham Prophet who tonight won the Club Championship defeating Paul Strachan 21 - 15. Well done to both players for providing a keenly contested and highly entertaining final in front of a good turnout.
The Final of the Gents Championship takes place this coming Friday evening (21st). This year's finalists are Graham Prophet and Paul Strachan. Best of luck to both players. Come along to the Club and give the Players your support, and enjoy what is normally a great social occasion.

BARNHILL BOWLING CLUB-OPEN MIXED TRIPLES-In a highly competitive final the Carnoustie rink of David McGill,Helen McGill & George Gilmour overcame the challenge of Craigie's Kevin Brunton plus Barnhill members Graham Prophet and Laura Prophet to win 10-5. The losing semi-finalists were the rinks skipped by Baxter Park's Sheila Malcolm and John Finlayson of Broughty Castle respectively.
Best of luck to all Visitors and Members taking part in the Club's Open Triples Competition which is being held today and tomorrow.
