This is all about giving people with cancer a bit of a lift at a difficult time – this could be treats but also time with family and friends. Our lovely friend Gav G2 Scaffolding Ltd decided over a year ago to stop having his regular haircuts in a bid to help children and young adults who sadly lose their hair because of cancer treatment or other illnesses. Now the hair he has just had cropped off will help in providing wigs for some of those affected. Through sponsorship via JustGiving, Gavin raised an incredible £1750 for us at Maggie’s Dundee and his hair has been sent off to the little princess trust! Gavin is also giving his support to Maggie’s as a Penguin Parade Sponsor with his very own Penguin! Gav regularly helps Maggie’s Dundee and we couldn’t appreciate his help more! Thank you Gav! 🐧

Annie our Fundraising Manager’s husband Phil works at V&A Dundee which opens 15th September. He’s running off the stress and excitement by doing the London Marathon for Maggie’s Dundee. Phil’s Mum sadly died of cancer 17 years ago, aged just 57 and Maggie’s was a huge support to them all.
