Remember to watch out for forgeries, both contemporary and current: more ordinary things with rare overprints - most obviously! Below is a contemporary forgery, bought via ebay.co.uk as a genuine example. The monies were refunded by ebay under the ebay money back guarantee scheme, which i strongly recommend especially since the current stance is very much on the side of the buyer (the consumer). However always consider whether a seller is a 'business' seller on ebay, as these guys are legally bound, no only by ebay terms, but by the (UK) Consumer Rights Act 2015, private sellers are just not! Most collectors that decide to sell anything are involved in a "hobby" of course, and are rarely lacking in scruples. Enjoy your collection, but please watch out for forgeries! And never hesitate to ask a reputable member of the trade a question.
