A unique opportunity to guided through an incredible selection of rare whiskies by Dutch whisky lover and connoisseur, Michiel Wigman. A whisky enthusiat for several decades, Michiel Wigman has become a well-known and eagerly anticipated exhibitor at festivals around Europe where he regularly offers the most impressive selections of carefully chosen old and rare bottlings. The tasting will consist of bottles personally selected by Michiel. It will include some of his favourite drams; Bonfanti Laphroaig, Longmorn 1969 G&M, North Port 1974, Rosebank circa mid 1970s to name a few. On day two there will be a Cadenheads tasting hosted by industry legend and Cadenheads general manager Mark Watt. All hosted at the legendary Dornoch Castle Hotel, home of the world famous Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar which will celebrate it's 18th anniversary this year! Dornoch Castle Hotel is recognised as one of the finest whisky hotels in the world and is home to the Dornoch Distillery.
