The Jurassic Coast Trust is teaming up with Natural England this year to offer a series of guided walks at the spectacular Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs National Nature Reserve. Places are available at our online shop. If you've never visited this wild and mysterious place before, or you'd like to explore it in more depth, we can highly recommend booking on to one of the walks, led by local experts.
Association for Heritage Interpretation
Congratulations to Seaton Jurassic for their Commendation from the Association for Heritage Interpretation at the 2017 Discover Heritage Awards. It was for how they have used the built space of a centre to tell the cultural and natural heritage story of the Jurassic Coast landscape and region.

Today is World Heritage Day, to mark and celebrate the importance of the World's shared heritage; part of the agenda of peace promoted by UNESCO. Celebrate the UK's fantastic 30 Sites by visiting your nearest and finding out more about why it is important. You can find out where they all are at https://worldheritageuk.org/about/ourworldheritagesites/ and of course the Jurassic Coast is special because the cliffs show 185 million years of the Earth's history in 95 miles of stunning coastline.

Jurassic Coast Communities to Benefit from Dorset Coastal Connections Project - Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site
Exciting news this week as the Dorset Coastal Connections – People and Places project has been awarded £5.6 million in funding! The project will benefit communities along the Jurassic Coast, and our team will lead on two key projects planned for Lulworth Cove and West Bay.

A very big thank you to West Dorset Leisure Holidays, who have raised £57,000 for the Jurassic Coast Trust over the last nine years, all through small optional donations from their guests. It's a brilliant way for visitors to the area to give something back, and provides critical funding to help the Trust look after our unique World Heritage Site.
