I Karen leckey have over 26 years working with dogs Grooming over 10years and have won awar I work from my Dard licenced kennels Topdog pet hotel and Spa. We now have our DARD approved Kennels opened :) we only have a few kennels so each dog gets personal attention. Each dog gets walked up to 3 times a day:) and I is a real home from home for most dogs :) All Dog have to be up to date on there vaccinations and have kennel cough vac as well. I every dog here is someone baby and I want no ones baby to go home sick :)

Some people would say because it's so cold then their dog shouldn't get groomed but I know first hand why to get groomed regularly regardless of the weather :) dogs no matter the size have a hair growth cycle which means the hair grows and after a while falls out. If not regularly groomed their undercoat stops them from regulating their body temperature and in this weather it is very important to keep well groomed. Also their hair can grow in ears and you will see a picture of what looks like muck but it is hair and dirt from an pups ears. Good Groomers are the first person to notice any problems with ears and nails and general health.
