Unfortunately this is a negative one which hopefully will end on a positive note..... hopefully. We've had a few bad habits slip into the salon and I feel the need to pull it back a bit in order to keep in control of good business. Firstly... somehow a 'buy now pay whenever' approach has come out of nowhere. We would greatly appreciate that ppl do not put us in a position to pay at a later time than their agreed appointment. And if agreed plz stick to the time scale given and don't drag it out having us embarrass ourselves to chase you for the money. Secondly... vouchers... Unless a voucher is handed over we will no longer accept excuses or reasons for no voucher being issued, even if u can tell us who purchased it, where they work or even what they were wearing the day they bought it. U couldn't go into river island and tell them u lost your voucher that ur sisters friends boss bought u at Xmas but uve lost it and your taking the £30 handbag anyway. We sell so many vouchers espically over special occasions and they are monitored with a number on the back, therefore unless we know which voucher number you are we cannot take the envelope out containing the sum of money to the value of that voucher. I shouldn't have to but I'd like to remind you guys that I (orla) have double the expense of living than most with the running cost of a home, family and the Salon and shouldnt have to chase ppl for money. Finally I'd like to point out that this is only due to a small minority of ppl and it's unfortunate that ive had to go to the extremes of pubically announcing it. This is not directed at any one specific person and I've had plenty of ppl come back later in the day to pay for numerous reasons....but only when agreed and suggested by myself, therefore plz don't think if uve ever done this that I'm talking to u lol. Our bank machines is forever playing up outside. Sorry for the negativity but on a positive note... every day is a new beginning, take a deep breath, smile and start again.
