All courses are designed to be fun for absolute beginners, who have never picked up a brush before, through to Improvers.
The Seasons Art Class® is a brilliant way to learn new skills you will be able to enjoy forever.
It is also a great way of meeting new friends and to have a fun experience you will always remember and cherish! It is open to all adults of all ages.
Step By Step, We Make It Easy...
We adapt to each student’s needs and give them all the help they require to develop their artistic skills. The curriculum is fun, comprehensive and interesting.
Over 14 weeks we will explore four different media:
pencil drawing, oil pastel painting and techniques, painting and blending with watercolours and acrylics.
Step by step progressive guidance and tuition in the basic techniques and secrets needed to create beautiful pieces of art.
Eight Masterpieces!
After 14 weeks, students have created a minimum of eight pieces of their very own original art they can enjoy forever, from misty mountain tops to stunning seaside vistas.
By the end of our course you will be able to draw and paint things you didn’t dream possible, from picturesque village scenes to sketches of your family, friends and even pets!

Week 2 - The Tree Frog. Mostly coloured pencils again.
The Spring Course has started - but where is the Spring Weather !! Beautiful beetles using coloured pencils.
Evening everyone. Fingers crossed the snow forecast in the early hours will all be washed away by the forecast rain in the morning, and we can finally start the Spring course tomorrow. CLASS POSTPONED Given this advise we have decided to postpone the start of the new course until next week.
Morning. Lots of snow overnight. (Derby itself had only had a sprinkling of snow these last few days until about 8pm and I’d been driving most of yesterday with no problems so hoped we’d avoided it all). Zoe who lives quite a distance away has just set off to try and get here so we’ll see how it goes. Also waiting to hear back whether the venue will be open. Will do another post in about an hour.
