Small animal Rescue Centre Welcome to Sophie's Smallies Boarding and Rescue Centre.
My name is Sophie, I have taken a massive leap this year and set up my own small animal business.
There are two parts to my centre.

Firstly, I take in abandoned and mistreated small animals. I rehabilitate them, treat wounds and strive to find their forever homes. I am open to public, and I am happy to show people around the centre. There are over 30 rabbits currently with me looking for homes. For further information, please check out my albums which are full of pictures of the rabbits currently available.

The second part of my business is the boarding centre. This is an exciting venture for me! I am now able to take in rabbits, guineas and small animals for boarding. This is available for both day holidays and longer stays. I am available all year round and all days of the week, so whatever holidays you have planned, then I'm the boarding centre for you! I have been a small animal owner for over 10 years now and I am very confident with the care and handling them. If you would like more information on this or would like a price list. Then please drop me a message on here or give me a call.

Thank you, Sophie

Hello everyone! It’s looking like this will be my last full week of opening up the rescue centre to visitors. Due to medical reasons I am having to cut my workload well down. The most important thing now is to look after myself and baby. Anyone planning on adopting or visiting the rabbits please get in touch as soon as possible to arrange your visit. We will be opening the rescue back up after some well deserved family time. Thank you for everyone’s help in finding homes for so many bunnies these past couple of weeks. I have been so overwhelmed by everyone’s support! A staggering 6 rabbits have settled into their forever homes now. And I couldn’t be happier. The work I do here can only continue with your help and support. So just repeating myself, anyone wanting to visit the rabbits please get in touch as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on a visit. Thank you everyone, Sophie xx

Sapphire - Sapphire is an older female rabbit who is looking for a special home. Saph has a cataract in her right eye. She has sadly lost most of her sight in this eye, but her other fine is absolutely fine and she has no other health concerns. Due to having reduced sight, she can get stroppy and spooked easily when something approaches her suddenly. If you are able to provide Saph with space and time then please drop me a message!

We are down to our final 8 rabbits needing homes! I have been overwhelmed by everyone who has helped share and recommend me to their friends! In the next following weeks I will be taking a step back from the rescue rabbits, so if any one is looking to rehome or has friends who are looking then please drop me a message so we can sort something out before then! I would be so happy to see all the bunnies in their forever homes. For more information or photos of the rabbits we have, please see the album 'Currently Available'. Thank you again to all my adoptees, rescuers and friends who have helped find homes for so many rabbits! Sophie xxx

Sapphire is an older female rabbit who is looking for a very special home. Sapphire has a cataract in her right eye. This means that she cannot see from that eye. There is nothing we can do for Sapphires eye but luckily, has no other health concerns. Due to a rabbit being a prey animal, having reduced eye sight can cause Sapphire to be a bit jumpy when she can't see you approaching. Sapphire will need an experienced rabbit home who is able to give her time and space to settle in. If this sounds like something you can help with then drop me a message to talk more about her!
