As a beautician/microblading technician one of the best parts of the job is having the ability to make women feel better about themselves and also the power to give them a pick me-up. I find it extremely rewarding watching the transformation a pair of microblading eyebrows can make, especially on a woman who has suffered the horrible effects cancer treatment can cause. A lady can come to me looking a little down and by the time she leaves, she looks radiant, with a huge smile on her face and that, to me, is worth its weight in gold. Even though appearance is rarely the main concern of someone who is going through or has gone through chemotherapy, it still has an impact on the individual’s self-esteem. Regardless of how poorly they are, everyone wants to look like them self again and this is where microblading can help. Taking away the hassle of having to draw on their eyebrows everyday, can save precious time especially when they're feeling unwell, and ensures that when they look in the mirror they still feel like it's them looking back. As their illness is taking its toll and they're probably finding things hard, having a new set of eyebrows is one way I can help make a difference. Helping them look a little more like their old self can work wonders. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to re shape and design my mum’s perfect brows. I know, first hand how loosing your hair can really affect your self-esteem and having a pair of brows can make a huge difference.
