Course update- our gents open preparations have now started on the course. Gents open is on Sunday 20th August. It's been a wet August so far, making life difficult for us to get some dry cuts. We also get heavy dew on all surfaces more often at this time of year and some days it's not lifting until midday. Greens were fed last week and are looking good. The constant rain has activated some moss but with the feed now on it should toughen up the sward again. If we get a dry spell I will try and give the greens a verti cut to help weaken the moss. Gary
