Murthwaite Fell Pony Stud
Description
Leading fell pony stud breeding under the prolific 'Murthwaite' prefix. One of the few remaining fell pony studs that run on the open commons Murthwaite Fell pony stud began in 1962 founded by Thomas Capstick. Today it is one of the few remaining semi-feral fell pony herds running on the open commons, collectively known as the Howgills.
As a fanatical fell pony breeder, I endeavour to breed quality and true to type ponies which is paying off with the success Murthwaite ponies are having in the show ring.
