After a cyber attack as big as this one there will always be emails coming out claiming to help protect you against them but are actually further attacks. Be careful and only click on what you trust. We can offer advice and help if you need it!

Always keep an eye out for scam emails. I just received this one to my personal email account. This might seem very legit if you have an account with HSBC, however, I do not so therefore know instantly that it's a scam. Things to look out for are: 1. Request to validate personal details (in this case it's asking for account details). 2. Bad grammar or incorrect spelling. 3. Prompted to click links or download attachments. 4. Look for threats that something bad will happen if you don't do what the email tells you to do (the bottom part of this email states your account could be suspended). If in doubt call the company which has looked to have sent the email and they should be able to confirm or deny if the email has came from them. Be safe online and don't allow yourself to be scammed, use the tips above 🙂!

Recently had experience with Locky Ransomware and it is a complete nightmare! If you value any files on your PC, make sure you have them all backed up, otherwise be prepared to lose them! Always be suspect of receiving emails from unknown senders! Be safe folks.

You'd think Dell would make it easier to replace a hard drive than having to completely strip it to the bones! Successful hard drive replacement none the less and a very happy owner. :-D
