Appliance Repair Service

The original and best.
We're mobile... So you don't have to be...

We only use top quality parts, not rubbish off ebay like most.

The idea of The Gadget Van was born at Surf and Fix IT after we realised that we were fixing more phones and tablets than computers and so The Gadget Van was born.

Closing the shop enabled us to lower our prices and still be able to offer a superior repair using high quality parts for a sensible price.

We freely admit we aren't the cheapest around, this is because we refuse to use substandard parts from Amazon or Ebay, you get what you pay for so to speak.

You can relax in the knowledge that every part we supply and fit comes with a six month warranty as standard.

Had a customer today who had been to Apple with his iPhone 7 as it wasn't charging, they told him that there was a fault with the port and wanted £320 to replace it! I told him that I can replace the port for £45, anyway when I got hold of the phone I plugged my charger in and it worked fine... Turns out his charger was faulty. I honestly can't believe they didn't try a different charger and think they were just after a sale. Be wary of Apple and always get a second opinion from someone (me) who actually knows what he's talking about, unlike Apple apparently.

Wow, it's 8yrs ago today I nervously fixed a friend's iPhone 3g, around 10,000 phones later, myself and The Gadget Van have come a long way since (apart from the little mishap last year due to diesel/oil on the road). I've been working from home since November due to a slightly mangled collar bone and all my lovely customers have been great coming to me. Thanks for your patience while I get fixed and I hope you all continue to use me. Hopefully I'll be fully back on the road soon. As always you can message me on here (preferred) or call me on 07717743008. Cheers Matt

Hi folks. Contrary to popular belief, I am still fixing phones after the accident the other week (which I'm recovering well from by the way). At present I can only offer a 'you come to me' service, but I'm only in Cuddington and can fix most things while you wait. I'm contactable via message on here or by phone on 07717743008. Cheers Matt The Gadget Van Man

Apologies for anyone I held up at lunchtime on the A556. Thank you to all of the people who stopped to help me including the police and ambulance service. And of course all the staff at Leighton hospital for patching me up. As you can see I think the van's going to be off the road for a bit, if not for good 😔. I'll still be working, but it'll be an 'at my home' service for a while until my collar bone heals and a van gets sorted out.

Did you know that Apple has admitted that they INTENTIONALLY slow down older iPhones, such as the 5, 5s, SE, 6, 6s, 7 etc after a year to save the battery life? And the fix is to SIMPLY TO REPLACE THE BATTERY... So, if your phone is running slower than usual, and crashes regularly, maybe it’s time for a replacement battery? In most cases this will extend the life of your phone, and should noticeably speed up the performance of your device, as the phone will recognise that it has a brand new battery. If you would like this doing then send us a message and we'll come to you. **PLEASE MESSAGE THE PAGE DIRECTLY AS COMMENTS MAY BE MISSED** https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/dec/21/apple-admits-slowing-older-iphones-because-of-flagging-batteries
