Light and mood play a large part in her paintings.
Born into a family of Artists, Pam Cox is inspired by the beautiful West Country landscapes which surround her.
Light and mood play a large part in her paintings, where she captures the splendour of the ever-changing seasons. They portray the quintessential Devon landscape of winding lanes, patchwork fields, rivers and beautiful wildflower meadows. Pastels are her preferred medium, but she also enjoys working in mixed media.
In recent years a leading London collectables company discovered Pam and commissioned six paintings from her, all based on a wild flower theme. These were marketed nationally, and were so successful that they were put onto a set of 6 Wedgwood collectors' plates.

facebook.comSold today.... I won't be at Tavistock this coming Saturday... Off to France teaching on Tuesday ... Next Tavistock Mkt. will be Saturday 14th September. I have three paintings and cards showing in The Artists Garden Exhibition, RHS Rosemoor, 6 - 22 September inclusive..... lots of other Artists exhibiting and well worth a visit😀
Have been getting ready for Okehampton Show (this Thursday 8th August) This is just one of my paintings which I shall be exhibiting in the Craft Tent tomorrow 😀

I shall be entering this one into the Westward Ho and Bideford Summer Exhibition 7th July to 10th August...at the Burton Art Gallery Bideford, together with 3 others hopefully.
This painting will be coming with me to the Pannier Mkt, Barnstaple tomorrow.....
