Message from Dr Debbie Donovan: "On 17th February I will be doing a FIREWALK over red hot coals to raise money for an early pregnancy assessment unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Each year the Royal Surrey looks after more than 2,000 women who have problems in early pregnancy and sadly one in five end in miscarriage. It's a traumatic time going for a scan, not helped by having to wait in a busy outpatient department full of women whose preganancies are progressing normally. The aim is to raise £600k to create a new facility with rooms for scanning, counselling, examination and recovery and a dedicated reception and waiting area which are not overlooked. The team want to ensure that women and their partners leave the hospital knowing they have been treated with the utmost care, dignity and respect. I know this facility will make a huge difference to my patients and I invite you to help me support the appeal. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on the appeal's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations." Please click the link below to donate, or pop in to reception! Good luck Dr Donovan! http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=Debbiefirewalk
