Qualified Level 2/3 Hairstylist required for an immediate start in a busy salon. Must be fully competent in all aspects of hairdressing which include Colours (various techniques) Cuts, Blowdries, and Upstyles. Although guidance will be given and training can be provided. Applicant should have previous salon experience, have a good work ethic and be able to work in a team and on your own. They will also need to be able to work to a set schedule, and be flexible in working hours from the beginning of the post. Communication as a hairdresser is very important so the applicant needs to be a confident talker and an avid listener and able to understand instructions. Rate of pay will be discussed upon successful application and will be reviewed after a 3 month probationary period. Duties Include: Cutting, Colouring, Blowdrying etc Cleaning, till operation and cash handling, opening and closing the salon, general reception duties. Hours would be between 16 & 20 during the probationary period and will then increase upon completion of the 3 months. To apply please forward your CV to me.
