The Riverside is Northern Ireland's oldest operating professional theatre venue outside of Belfast. It is based at the Ulster University, Coleraine.

Thursday 17th May, 8pm Tickets: £12/ £6 (students) Presented by Pintsized Productions Women Troubles is a new play written and performed by actors Siobhan Kelly, Clare McMahon and Maria Quinn coming to Riverside audiences hot on the heels of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. It is a story about growing up female from age 13-30, performed in a physical, fast paced style with minimal set. It explores first love, first heartache, GCSEs, unplanned pregnancy, sexual harassment, deciding to be an actor, going to drama school and everything in between.
Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd June, 8pm Tickets: £13 Victoria Lagan Dance and Drama are the highest NATD trained Dance teachers in Northern Ireland through the National Association of Teachers of Dancing as well golding many Ulster and Northern Ireland Championship titles. The annual Summer showcase is a chance for all of the VLDD studio performers to showcase their abilities. Highlighting different dance styles, including hip hop, contemporary jazz, musical theatre and acrobatics. VLDD drama class will showcase some LAMDA acting exam pieces and there will also be some guest singers.
Friday 8th June, 8pm Tickets: £16 A fantastic evening of song and dance including all your favourite musicals in one night. Both old and new musicals will be performed by well known singers and dancers. Be transported to Oklahoma for a whip cracking fun filled evening. Sing along to the beautiful familiar songs of My Fair Lady. Be dazzled by the costumes of Hairspray and transported to an era gone by with Top Hat.
Thursday 10th, Friday 11th & Saturday 12th May, 8pm Tickets:£12/ £10 Performing Arts students from the Northern Regional College in Ballymoney take to the stage to show case their skills and talent in one of the most beloved musicals of all time, vividly bringing to life Dickens' timeless characters with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more.
Saturday 2nd June, 8pm Tickets: £12/ £10 An immersive new concert comes to Coleraine for the first time. Established in 2015, the IVGO has been stunning audiences throughout the UK and Ireland with its thrilling light and visuals playing the very best music that video games have to offer. Enjoy Ireland’s only gaming orchestra as they play classics from some of the most popular video games of all time, such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Whether you’re a gamer, a music lover, or simply interested in something different, why not come and get your game on.
Belvoir Players present SINK OR SLIM by Sam Cree Saturday 18th August, 8pm Tickets: £11/ £9 SINK OR SLIM ... a classic Sam Cree comedy set in the 1960"s in a Health Farm run by the owner Mrs Babbington. She is a formidable lady who rules with a rod of iron and who feeds her pet poodle better than her paying guests! We meet the Major, Millie the dippy maid, Willie the handyman who supplies guests with whatever contraband they are willing to pay for and a Swedish Masseuse called Hildie who's determined to help everyone lose weight and get fit! A merry go round of crazy craic and lots of laughs ... one not to miss!
